1887  The Kirmess in aid of the infants' home being the first ever attempted in Toronto, there are probably many people who not unnaturally will be thankful for a few suggestions as to how they ought to conduct themselves at it.
1889  The "Kirmess" was the social subject of last week's talk. It was a huge bazaar gotten up by charitable and fashionable ladies, for the benefit of the Infants Home.
